Open Out a Way

We humans think that we are separate from the world and all that is in it, and that we must draw things to ourselves. Rather, we are infinite in our true spiritual being, and as the poet Robert Browning wrote, we must open out a way for the imprisoned splendor to escape, rather than trying to draw things to us.

In reality, there is no outside to an infinite being. As Jesus said, “The Kingdom of God is within you.” In fact, the kingdom must contain all that God has, and so there is no need to draw to ourselves anything at all. We already have it.

Where do inventions come from? And wisdom, knowledge, facts, discoveries? Consciousness.

Our very own consciousness. And since our consciousness is infinite, we are one with all that is, whether it be human, animal, vegetable, or mineral.

To open out a way, you must express — love, cooperation, helping, sharing, understanding, friendship. What we express is what we have. This is the secret of abundance — giving or spending our money. What we deny having, we lose.

The Universe is a perfect example of expression. It is impossible to count all the life forms on earth, whether they be animal, insect, or plants. The forms boggle the mind.
